About
The Master of Public Health in Community-Oriented Public Health Practice is a master’s degree offered by the University of Washington. The two-year, full-time program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to effectively address public health challenges and make an impact on their communities.
Since its founding in 2002, the COPHP program has been dedicated to producing leaders with a solid grounding in the values and principles central to excellent, equitable public health practice. Our faculty and staff are passionate about this mission, and are also committed to social justice efforts throughout the curriculum.
The degree is offered by the Department of Health Systems and Population Health in the UW School of Public Health, which is ranked ninth nationally in the most recent rankings by U.S. News & World Report. The program is fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.
